Volcanoes are openings in the Earth's surface.When they are active they can let ash, gas and hot magma escape in sometimes violent and spectacular eruptions.

Pumice is a unique volcanic rock (igneous) that can float in water. It can also be used as an abrasive and is  sometimes used in beauty salons for removing dry skin.

PHONES!!!!!

Mangonui school should really, really, really have PHONES!!!!!

If I had a phone I could research about something I don't know. I would like to research facts about countries.

I could contact family if I was lost.

I could play on my phone if I was bored.
I could use it if there was nothing to use.

I should have a phone so I could take a photo and send to my family that I am safe.
I can use my GPS to walk back home.

Rubbish

Rubbish looks like heaps of dirty bottles in a pile of dirty surroundings.

Rubbish sounds like paper getting scrunched up in the rain.

Rubbish smells like disgusting poop.

Rubbish tastes like old dust.

The day off for my sore foot

While other people had Cross-Country I had a sore foot because I had banged it on the playground then on our fireplace.  After that, I banged it on the bath tub, then I even banged it on the door. OWWWWWWWWW! So, I stayed home and had a rest on the couch. I played Block City Wars on the iPad and after few hours me and my nana done some work on the tukutuku panel. Next, we fixed up my whip. After few more hours my sister came back from Cross-Country.  She told me that she went running off the track and said she didn't have a fun day.

Science

During science we squeezed in some golden syrup into the cup.  Next we poured in the vegetable oil.  Third we added  water with yellow food coloring inside it.  Then we dropped some salt into the cup.  The salt started to pop and move up to the top of the glass.

we worked on this milk project.

First we used a plate.

Second we poured in milk.

Third we poured a tiny bit of colouring in the teaspoon, then dropped a bit in the plate.

Fourth we squeezed in a drop of dishwashing liquid in the plate.

fifth I saw a pattern with colour.

The big wave

I saw a wide wave. It was drowning me into the deep sea.  The sea water burnt into my eyes. The water was pushing me back like there was a crazy emergency.  I was panicking my way through the wide wave. The wave was like a horror ride,
pushing me up and down. I was searching everywhere for help but I never saw anyone or a boat. This wave was horrible.

MY DAD

My Dad likes Xbox. He sometimes sits on his bed when he plays. He always trys to beat the other players. Somtimes his team loses and the others win. 

My Dad sometimes builds lego with me. He built me a mini bat set with a rocket ship.

He is a good artist at drawing me cool cars and he gives me the car drawings.

My Dad really likes subway he always buys us one. Whenever we go out he sometimes buys us toys from the shops. He bought me an a Avenger set.


My Dad is very good at video games. He always beats me in multiplayer rounds.

My Dad is taller then my twin sisters who are 16 and my sister who is 12 and my mum who is 37 and me.

My Dad is smart at maths. Because my sister always gives him hard maths questions.

Sometimes my Dad watches world war programmes on youtube.

THE TREE

I think we should leave it.

Birds can make their nests in it. The tree gives us nice cool shade when it is burning hot. It is very colourful.  The lichen kind of looks like moss. 

My bad things about the tree is how the leaves falls on the ground. They stick to our shoes and make our classes really messy. This means we have to sweep them up ... and it is very tiring!!!

At night me and my friend Andrew played XBOX games.
We played wrestling.  I was versing him. I was beating him. he ended the game because I was winning. Then we watched Gbecauseaurdians of the Galaxy.   After that we went to bed I was scared

COOPERS BEACH CAMP!

I really, really wanted to go on the waterslide. It was SUPER fast. I was ZOOMING like a car.

All of the water surrounded all over me. I fell into BIG puddle of water. When I went on my back I saw a lot of people cheering. Sometimes I SPUN around.

AT COOPERS BEACH IT WAS SOOOO FUN PLAYING SLIPPERY HOCKEY!

I liked everything.
