Bee and Kawakawa facts

Did you know the average bee makes 1/12 a teaspoon of honey in it's lifetime?
Also 1 honey bee has to fly about 90,000 miles around the globe 3 times! Just to make a pound of honey, what the?!
Honey bee's must gather 2 million flowers to make a pound of honey I did not know tha
The bee's buzz is the sound of there wings which beat 11,400 time per minute wow! Did you also know that they use their tongue to suck water and honey.
Bees can use their antennas to smell nectar 2 kilometres away I thought they used them for hearing ha.
Now were going to move on to kawakawa what is a native leaf to my country NZ. It was used for traditional Maori medicine they can also make kawakawa cream and chewed on it to heal tooth aches. If you wanted to try find some I'll give you some little spots so you can find them it is mostly found in coastal and lowland forests through the north island and the northern half of the south island.

The Jetty

Zoom! Hearing cars and loud trucks passing by me and my mates while we walk to my house. Finally we reached home and we had some juice. Pat spilled so he had to clean it up. We went to my room to play for a bit.  SUDDENLY, we had an idea we asked my mum if we could go to the jetty she said "yes".

We hopped in the car all squashed, Broom! We got to the jetty Keelan ran and just jumped in with a BOOM!
I jumped in secondly splash! Feeling the cold water spreading around my body swimming back to shore shivering cold. 

Then out of nowhere, Keelan jumps on Pat for no reason and then they have a sand fight me, Niko, and Ethan join in.  We start chucking wet sand and hard sand balls at each other.  Then started smacking sea foam in one of an others faces until my mum called us in. 

We jump off  the jetty to rinse off then we dropped everyone off. I felt real happy to hang out with my friends at the jetty that day.

Hi I'm Wolverine and I'm grey and white like a seagull. Anyway I'm a cat and I love my life. I have this really cool collar what has awesome colors. Also I'm a big fan of Golden State Warriors. I really really want to meet Stephen Curry. He's my favorite basketball player in the Golden State Warriors. 

I sometimes see my owner struggle so I be the best cat I can.    

Cross Country

I walked to the start line feeling nervous. "Finally, the girls are finished" said Che. At last it was our turn. Suddenly the lady's horn goes WHROOO! I started to sprint I made the most dumbest choice to sprint. Because I just got a stitch. Carlos is right next to me we start to talk the whole short lap until... Mr Sedcole shouted "Awwww! Come on!". Carlos ran now it's free-for-all. I kept jogging but I got tired straight away though. My mate Oliva was behind me so I stopped. I heard people cheering so me and Oliva glared at each other in the eyes and then we started race each other. Suddenly my mum pulled me off. I was so happy to get off that mud Carlos saw me when he finished and was like "whaaat" in a curious way. We went back to school my mum was saying "that we had sports today" and I groaned and said "bruhhh". 

Flight of the kuaka

Kuaka travel every year from Siberia to New Zealand. They feed in New Zealand but breed in Siberia. When the storms hit Alaska they start to move to New Zealand. The Kuaka arrive on August and leave on September. When summer starts coming to an end they get serious about eating because the need to full up there belly's the Kuaka stop at Australia Japan and Russia they leave the elders back because they cant make the journey back they fly in a V formation. These birds travel further then every bird in the world within 30,000km.

Whistless

One day a poor bird named Whistless saw three birds whistling on a tree. Afterwards, whistless thought it was pretty cool so he joined in with them and tried real hard but failed. Suddenly, he flew off jealous often the train came it always made a toot toot noise so it did but it made whistless feel sadder. He saw a window open so he went to it for no reason someone was singing whistle but they didn't sing so he just whistled. He tried again but failed. Sometimes traffic would come so they needed a traffic officer he was blowing a whistle at the traffic. Meanwhile a little girl came she picked him up and took him to a swing on the way she started to whistle. She left to the zoo so did whistless. He found a tiger his whistle sounded like a saxophone. Whistless tried but he just failed the tiger said no and tried to eat Whistless but he left with short notice. The traffic officer was talking to a bad guy whistless was looking and saw the officers whistle in sight. Suddenly he flew to the officers whistle and pick pocketed his whistle and flew really high. He blew the whistle it sounded like a high pitched scream. everyone started crashing and started to get big frights. The officer said to give it back so he did and he said "shhhhh", Whistless held her breath and let out a giant whistle. 

And, everyone lived happy ever after.

MY HERO

My hero is chilled because he just watches tv and plays video games after he finishes his jobs. 
He is as chilled as a sleeping hippo.

My hero is cheerful like a rugby fan cheering on. He's joyful like a monkey seeing bananas. He has great style.

If I was rich

Five things that I would do if I was rich. I would buy  the latest Bugatti with the most horsepower you can get. Big as speakers in the back with lime green neon colour white leather seats . I will buy  a 100 inch TV with the best graphics  and a ps4  with all the games in the world. A really big yacht with a pool that has a blue light with a jumping platform and a spa with comfy seats and really warm water.

Cheetah

Cheetahs live in sub-Saharan Africa and the grassy savanna of Africa, and in parts of Asia.

Cheetahs are covered in fur and they have spots. Cheetahs tails are long for their size, 60-84 cm. Their spines are extremely flexible. They also have black lines that go down their eyes.

The Cheetah eats Gazelles. They also eat Springbok, and Impalas but it can also eat ostriches, wart hogs, and zebras. 

When a Cheetah cub is 2 months old it can open its eyes. When the cheetah cub grows up to 6 months old it stops drinking its mums milk and eat real food. When its 18 months old the cheetahs mum leaves it. 

the best part of me

The best part of me is my legs because I  can run.

When I grow up I can use my legsto kick in combat. I depend on my legs to jump in basketball. My legs are reliable when I need to swim.Lastly if I didn't have leg then I wouldn't have  feet I could not wear my cool nikes that my dad bought me.

One sunny day a lovely queen rode in a carridge to church she was going to marry a lovely man who would earn king but he was crazy. He hired a very  dangerous dragon to kill the nice queen because the king wanted all gold the queen had. Suddenly the queen got picked up and got taken to very dark cave. The dangerous dragon almost ate the queen until she said that he could have all her gold. The dragon said sure and took the queen to the seeing that the crazy king was breaking the whole town. The queen lied grabbed a sword and killed the dragon.

We need the Taipa bridge

I think that we should build the new bridge so we can have two lanes. The current bridge is one lane and its not that good because we have to wait longer.


We must have a new bridge because you always have to wait on one lane. Like imagine on Christmas people must have been stuck for ages.


It will be easier for cyclists and people who always walk. At the momment theirs barely any space on the old bridge .


I want the new bridge because than we can have a bombing platform. Because you might slip off the edge when you climb over and hurt yourself on the old bridge.


We must build the new bridge! As I said before we can have two lanes so we can wait less longer.

Waitangi weekend

On Waitangi weekend on a sunny day, me my Poppa, my Uncle and my cousin met in Taipa to go fishing. When we got there, we hopped out of the my uncles truck. We reached the hill through sharp gorse almost slipping down the hill finally reaching the bottom.
